Assos Spring Fall EVO socks

A midweight sock for cool, low-light conditions encountered early and late in the year

To create a midweight sock that blends comfort, support, and an element of visibility, Assos needed to experiment with new yarns that would be up to the task. Testing in mild spring and fall conditions led us to ultrasoft polyester yarns blended with Lycra, which delivers a light compressive hold and a touch of insulation along the foot, ankle, and lower leg using a seamless construction. The unique hexagonal and square shape of the knit transfers moisture through the yarns to the outer surface, ensuring your feet stay dry and comfortable inside your shoes. From there Assos targeted the arch, wrapping it with a ribbed band for further support and boosted breathability, along with a contrasting reflective band along the Achilles for added visibility in low-light conditions. The spring/fall climaCode is now a prominent visual cue for layering and also assists in wardrobe organization.

Technologies

STL
Short for Spot The Light, these light-absorbing polyester yarns have been developed with photoluminescent pigment in order to remain luminous in the absence of light.

Ribbed Arch
360-degree ribbed band along the arch keeps the foot comfortably supported within the shoe.

Seamless Construction
Absent of exposed seams, this 160-needle construction provides a seamless wrap on the foot for the ultimate in friction-free comfort.
