Technologies

Black Chili Soft Compound
The balance between grip and rolling resistance for gravity-focused use cases. High level of grip with reasonable rolling resistance. Possibility to optimise the rolling properties of the rear wheel on the DH bike or to have the optimal combination for Enduro or Trail.

Enduro casing
Durable single-layer casing construction with Apex to prevent punctures.

Apex
Used successfully for years in car tyres, its transition to bike tyres was only a matter of time. A natural rubber profile sandwiched between the carcass layers at the base of the tyre stiffens the sidewalls, minimising tyre torsion due to high transverse loads. Stiffer sidewalls in turn reduce the risk of punctures and prevent the tyre from slipping off the rim. At low pressure, grip is improved without becoming too loose when cornering. The risk of punctures is significantly reduced.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless ready tyres offer the biker many advantages: the possibility of using lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tyre with an inner tube; a lower chance of puncture because there is no inner tube. Tubeless ready tyres must be fitted on tubeless compatible rims and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants have the added advantage of sealing small punctures. Be sure to check the sealant regularly and replace it if necessary, as it dries out over time.
