Made in Gore-Tex® Duratherm Kelvinmembrane to ensure excellent breathability, water and wind block, guaranteeing the maximum sensation of comfort in all weather conditions, even the most extreme ones. Exceptional qualities are made possible thanks to the additional lining on the tip of the foot and the membrane used in the upper for more thermal insulation.

- Made with the patented X-Frame 2 construction, the upper transfers every watt of power while providing the snuggest, even fit with no pressure points.

- The new Easyfit Climaflex collar combines the extreme flexibility of the Gore-Tex Rattler® membrane with the high thermal insulation of Neoprene, guaranteeing mobility and protection.
- The wrapping and positioning of the heel are enabled by an anatomic seat and a solid thermoformed buttress while the Arctic 4Layer insole constructed in Eva + Aluminum + Eva + Pile, ensures greater thermal insulation.
- The 360° reflective inserts enable excellent visibility on the road.
Technologies
S.L.W.2 closing system
The micrometric system S.L.W. 2 (Speed Lace Winch) represents the evolution of the closure system. Maximum precision and modularity. The innovative step by step closure means you can tighten and enlarge the fit in a few moments. The side button provides a dual function: by pressing, it features a micrometric release and lifting it allows a complete and immediate opening of the shoe. More lightweight and thinner. The dial has been completely redesigned in size and weight, resulting in being significantly lighter and thinner. The external covering in soft touch material also makes the grip more effective. The ergonomic shape of the S.L.W. 2 ratchet follows the anatomy of the foot to make it really comfortable. The S.L.W. 2 ratchet is easily replaceable. The cables come from the best technology derived from the world of sailing.
Gore-Tex
Gore-Tex shoes offer comfort and protection in all weather conditions. The microscopic pores of the Gore-Tex membrane are impenetrable but allow sweat and heat to escape, keeping your feet warm and dry.
X-Frame 2
After revolutionizing upper design and setting the benchmark for how to transfer every watt of power while providing the snuggest, even fit with no pressure points, X-Frame has now evolved into X-Frame 2 to bring you an unrivalled standard of custom fit that adapts to any type of foot.
Speedplay
The shortest distance between foot and pedal on the market. Northwave developed and patented, in collaboration with Speedplay, an exclusive adaptor that provides maximum power transmission on pedals, thanks to the reduced thickness of just 0,5 mm rather the 3 mm of the traditional Speedplay adaptors. Made of nylon with a thin aluminum plate (it saves 8,5 g) it allows to respect the natural anatomy of the sole keeping minimized the distance between the foot and the pedal in any position. Without adding bulk and weight as it occurs in systems without the adaptor.
