Every weekend deep in the hills of Santa Cruz, cyclists are brought to their knees by a nasty, four mile, 1800 ft. Climb named Alba road. This respected climb was the inspiration for the brand new Alba road crank. With its shapely forged alloy arms connected to the M30 BB and spindle system, the Alba is ready for anything you pedal up against. The Alba M30 can be installed in an Eng. threaded frame, BB86, 386EVO, BB30, PF30, or Specialized OSBB road frame.

Praxis based alloy cranks on the Praxis M30 ‘Wide-Stance’ platform. These M30 BB’s use a drive side wave-washer for the bearing preload, and a 30 mm Drive bearing with a step down to 28 mm non-drive bearing. The Zayante, Alba, Girder and Cadet all use the Praxis M30 bottom brackets. This bottom bracket/spindle combination allows you to install Praxis cranks on the following frame types : BSA English Threaded – Road & MTB, BB86 – Road, BB90/92 – MTB, BB30 – Road & MTB, PF30 – Road & MTB, 386EVO – Road. With the superior support of this wide stance, the M30 system takes power transfer to a new level. Praxis elegantly combined the benefits of a stout 30 mm alloy spindle, with the support benefits of an wide-stance bearing to get the best of both worlds.
All of Praxis road chainrings are created with the proprietary forging process which allows to manipulate the ring shape and tooth profile more than ever before. With the “One-Shot” forging Praxis is able to increase the amount of shifting features on a chainring which normal CNC manufacturing won’t allow. The process also creates a harder and tougher tooth surface for durability.
LevaTime™ shifting is the product of years of relentless testing and tweaking. The final result is a set of some of the finest and fastest-shifting rings available. With a LevaTime™ ring, several shift pins are placed strategically at points on the ring to provide a perfectly timed lift. Synchronized ramps are tuned with a specific inner ring, providing a clean channel for the chain to move upwards. Each individual tooth is sculpted to handle a specific duty. Along with that, precisely located scallops help control chain movement and prevent chain suck.
