The tread offers sharp angles and edges to hook onto any surface, while the Endurant casing reinforces the sidewall for added protection and high carrying loads. Meanwhile, the legendary Gripton compound offers reliable grip and control, and the centre tread is reinforced for high mileage. Lastly, this iteration is set up for tubeless applications, so you're able to run lower pressures for added grip and traction, while also reducing the risk of pinch flats.

Technologies

Endurant
Endurant technology uses a one-piece flat protection barrier covering the entire casing, with an extended overlap for stability and sidewall protection. You get max durability for mixed terrain without a major weight penalty.

Black Belt
An extra layer of uniquely-crafted fabric with highly resistant properties sits between the casing and the tyre to reduce the risk of punctures. The technology is higly recommended to be applied on the tyres intended for use in intense conditions with a high puncture risk.

Gripton compound
The Gripton compound uses 'mostly synthetic rubber reinforced with silicon dioxide', which reduces the amount of energy lost through hysteresis. This basically means less deformation, less heat build-up, and a more efficient tyre with improved rolling resistance when compared to natural rubber. The Gripton compound is soft, allowing it to adapt and conform to rough surfaces. It has a durometer of 56 A, making it much softer than other tyres, meaning the tyre not only conforms to the surface it is rolling over, but also filters vibration, which produces a smoother ride.
