Specialized Stumpjumper 15 Comp 2025
The Stumpjumper 15 erases all compromises in the world of trail riding. Devouring big obstacles like a bike with generous suspension travel? Done. Control, playfulness and efficiency like an XC bike? Done. Extensive customisation options to make it perfect for the one biker who really matters: you? Done, done.
Revolutionary capability
GENIE technology combines a snappy, playful ride with a DH-like touring feel.
Supreme control
Tangibly better traction than the "Bike of the Year", the Stumpjumper EVO.
Genie-The Flying Carpet
The biggest innovation on the Stumpjumper 15 is GENIE. This patent-pending air spring technology invented by us fulfils three wishes of every rider: the feel and control of a coil spring, better downforce prevention than a standard air spring and an adjustable platform for a playful feel. THE 'GENIUS': GENIE combines the linear stiffness of the coil spring that improves control through the 'bump zone' with the progressive curve of the air spring at the end of the stroke to prevent bottoming. Truly, it is the best of both worlds - coil and air - with extra adjustability. Say goodbye to compromise and welcome the future of suspension.
What shock?
With a 16.3 per cent better shock force management than a conventional air spring shock, GENIE makes the Stumpy 15 function like a bike with a longer travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 (with 145mm rear wheel travel) and the Enduro (170mm travel) both use 101mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080N.
Traction galore
Extensive field tests show that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE provides 57% better traction than a standard air spring shock because GENIE technology offers flexible, coil spring-like performance that keeps the wheel in contact with the ground for a greater percentage of the time than a typical air spring.
Goodbye bottom out
39% fewer bottom-out events compared to a standard air spring. In the case of large shocks, you will benefit from the progressive curve in the last 30% of the GENIE stroke. Thanks to its two-stage behaviour, GENIE reduces the frequency and severity of bottom-out events.
Improved geometry
The geometry of this bike offers great capacity when you need it, agility in tight sections, and efficiency when climbing. The wide cockpit centres you on the bike, optimising traction and control in corners. The low bottom bracket, relaxed head angle and optimised fork offset promote stability even on technical terrain.
Your way
The Stumpjumper 15 seamlessly integrates geometry adjustment, making it the most customisable trail bike ever. Six distinct geometry settings allow you to fine-tune performance for any style and terrain. Steering angle and bottom bracket height can be precisely adjusted for stability or lightness.
Carry everything you need
The SWAT 4.0 compartment on the Stumpjumper 15 increases space in the down tube, an innovation pioneered by Specialized.
