The X-Bionic® Energizer 4.0 Light V-Neck Shirt for men is an extremely lightweight undergarment with a round collar.

Worn either alone or under your shirt, it maximizes the cooling effect of your perspiration, thus increasing your endurance and boosting your athletic performance. You can immediately feel it on your skin.

ThermoSyphon®, the next generation of the legendary 3D Bionic Sphere® System, works on the chest and the back, where your body can most effectively use the cooling effect. The system’s complex, three-dimensional, Y-shaped structures create a stable network of channels for intensive air exchange. It cools when you sweat and warms you when you're cold. Thermodynamic effects improve your skin-climate management. This is achieved through interaction among numerous technologies: Sweat Traps®, Air-Conditioning Channel®, AirComPlex-Zone at the sternum and ventilation-optimized Air Guides. Tailored higher in the back area, the ergonomically optimized Ideo-Waistband keeps your shirt in place even during continual activity.

Like all X-Bionic 4.0-generation products, this shirt is manufactured using ultra-high-resolution Retina® technology. You benefit from highly effective density, intensive functional transmission and precise separation of functional zones.


Technologies

3D Bionic Sphere® System
The 3D Bionic Sphere® System leaves a thin film of moisture on the skin without the body sensing wetness. Sweat Traps® then transport excess sweat, allowing it to evaporate, then disposing of it via thermal dynamics. What remains is only a comfortable, thin, cooling layer of moisture.

  • Evaporation surface expander - Evaporation across a large surface to process excess moisture.
  • Outer air channel - Excess moisture is continuously replaced by subsequent flow of fresh air.
  • Sweat Traps® - Transfer excess moisture.

The patented and unique 3D Bionic Sphere® System retains important resources to keep you performing better. Less energy is expended in regulating body heat, leaving you more energy reserves for your training.
Cold ambient air represents no overcooling risk factor, because the warm air inside the InnerAirChannels form an insulating cushion. During recovery, the cooling-down process is interrupted by the lack of sweat. The air in both channels serves to warm and protect, using the body‘s own warmth to create a body aura: a protective shell that wards off the influence of cold.

  • OuterAirChannel - During recovery, the cool-down process is interrupted by the absence of sweat.
  • InnerAirChannel - Warm air is stored inside.

Shoulder Pads
Each individual honeycomb, the newly developed Shoulder Pads construction, stores warm air for the isolation. This allows the shoulder joints to be insulated without restricting freedom of movement.

40 cm2 Absorption Area
Since a lot of sweat is produced in the chest area, the 3D Bionic Sphere® System of the latest ThermoSyphon®generation has been specifically equipped with Sweat Traps® to accelerate the absorption of moisture.

AirComPlex-Zone
At the solar plexus, directly below the twelfth thoracic vertebra, important nerve cords of the organs meet. Information that influences the overall well-being passes via this area. Warm air enclosed in special channels insulates this zone optimally in cold weather. During physical effort, the structure processes excess sweat and ensures a good, cool feeling.

Sweat Traps®
Pass on excess moisture. Sweat forms a fine film of moisture on the skin. Drops are collected in the Sweat Traps® and led to the Evaporation Surface Expander®. Evaporation takes place on three levels:

  • On the skin for cooling.
  • In the Sweat Traps® to process excess moisture.
  • On the Evaporation Surface Expander® for final evaporation of excess moisture.

Air Guides®
Air Guides® work like spacers and borders along the Air-Conditioning Channel®. The Air-Conditioning Channel® must be combined with the Air Guide® for winter use. The Air Guide® ensure proper distance for heavy, winterised upper body garments and ensure a highly effective flow volume of fresh air through the Air-Conditioning Channel®.
