Functional zones such as the Air-Conditionig Channel® and the AirComPlex-Zone at the upper abdomen, as well as ISO-Shoulder and Sweat Traps® under the arm, are also performance-enhancing thermoregulating technologies. Expansion Ribs® at the elbows ensure optimum climate comfort and at the same time offer full freedom of movement. Partialkompression® supports the performance-enhancing effect while improving blood flow for optimal cooling.

Technologies

3D Bionic Sphere® System
The 3D Bionic Sphere® System leaves a thin film of moisture on the skin without the body sensing wetness. Sweat Traps® then transport excess sweat, allowing it to evaporate, then disposing of it via thermal dynamics. What remains is only a comfortable, thin, cooling layer of moisture.

  • Evaporation surface expander - Evaporation across a large surface to process excess moisture.
  • Outer air channel - Excess moisture is continuously replaced by subsequent flow of fresh air.
  • Sweat Traps® - Transfer excess moisture.

The patented and unique 3D Bionic Sphere® System retains important resources to keep you performing better. Less energy is expended in regulating body heat, leaving you more energy reserves for your training.
Cold ambient air represents no overcooling risk factor, because the warm air inside the InnerAirChannels form an insulating cushion. During recovery, the cooling-down process is interrupted by the lack of sweat. The air in both channels serves to warm and protect, using the body‘s own warmth to create a body aura: a protective shell that wards off the influence of cold.

ThermoSyphon®
Patented structure that adds another dimension to the special properties of the 3D-Bionic Sphere® System: ThermoSyphon® features Y-shaped elements to support natural thermodynamics and improve sweat management.

Sweat Traps®
Pass on excess moisture. Sweat forms a fine film of moisture on the skin. Drops are collected in the Sweat Traps® and led to the Evaporation Surface Expander®. Evaporation takes place on three levels:

  • On the skin for cooling.
  • In the Sweat Traps® to process excess moisture.
  • On the Evaporation Surface Expander® for final evaporation of excess moisture.

Air-Conditioning Channel®
The traditional thermal underwear does one thing systematicaly: It keeps the body enveloped in its own heat. But what can be a pleasant feeling at one point can quickly lead to overheating. Physiological studies have shown that the chest area is one of the optimal zones for swift and effective ventilation.

Air Guides®
Air Guides® work like spacers and borders along the Air-Conditioning Channel®. The Air-Conditioning Channel® must be combined with the Air Guide® for winter use. The Air Guide® ensure proper distance for heavy, winterised upper body garments and ensure a highly effective flow volume of fresh air through the Air-Conditioning Channel®.
