A damaged wheel is not always unrecoverable, sometimes it's enough to replace the damaged spokes and re-tension the wheel properly to return the rim to the original perfection. Spokes and parts for Fulcrum and Mavic parts are available for almost all models in production, so one can save or extend the life of the wheels without replacing the entire set.
