Branched chain amino acids also known as BCAAs are critical for protein synthesis to ensure the growth of lean muscle mass and muscle maintenance. Before training increasing endurance, after hard effort to speed up recovery time, BCAAs are especially useful in the case of long endurance sports where a continuous workload on the muscles are required and therefore require a greater amount of nutrients to restore the right balance.
