Cane Creek Helm MKII Coil 29"/27.5+ boost Rake 44 mm fork

The Helm MKII is the first major revision of the Helm fork lineup and improves on its predecessor in nearly every way.

The Helm MKII includes a newly designed damper featuring a new compression and mid-valve circuit for increased support and control while a new SKF oil seal head and 2.5 weight damper oil reduce friction and provide a more supple ride-feel. The Helm MKII Coil combines the innovative damper and chassis features Cane Creek forks are known for with next-level coil sensitivity and predictability.  The coil sprung version of the Helm MKII brings consistent confidence to attack the roughest most off-camber sections of trail with ease.

Hand-built in North Carolina
Every single Helm fork is designed, built, inspected, tested and packed by a dedicated team of suspension professionals at facility in Fletcher, North Carolina. Cane Creek's suspension team’s attention to detail is illustrated in three step Dyno testing, ensuring that hand built products reach high standards of precision and performance. This process includes: Individual Damper Assemblies compression and rebound verification; Helm Chassis validation of the spring and damper; final hand dyno to ensure quality and supple feel.

Updated damper
The HELM’s Damper is the control center of the fork – highly sensitive check springs, valves and shims control the flow of oil with every compression and rebound as you ride down the trail. Cane Creek’s Development Team equips the MKII with new compression and mid valve circuits to maintain control during heavy braking and square edge scenarios. A redesigned SKF Oil Seal Head and Motorex damper oil work together to protect the internal damper components while simultaneously reducing friction.

• Axle / Spacing / Offset: "D-Loc" 15mm Bolt-on thru axle  / 15mm x 110 BOOST spacing / 51mm and 44mm.

• Spring: 55 lb Lightweight Coil Spring included from factory.
• Spring Recommendations: 35lb spring – AAG0421 RED – (90-120lbs rider); 45lb spring – AAG0422 BLACK – (120-160lbs rider); 55lb spring – AAG0424 GREEN – (160-200lbs rider); 55lb spring comes pre-installed from the factory; 65lb spring – AAG0426 BLUE –  (200-240lbs rider).
