When Castelli decided to make these shorts, the idea was to create a garment that could be worn as soon as it was dry after washing, regardless of the type of ride scheduled for that day. First of all, a soft, stretchy fabric was developed that feels incredible on the skin the moment you put the shorts on. This fabric follows the shapes and movements of the body without being too tight. Castelli has paid particular attention to the fit to make sure that everything stays in place, and a silicone non-slip has been added to the end of the leg just to make sure the tan line stays sharp. The mesh braces are elastic and allow for additional ventilation. Of course, the Project X2 Air pad was used for all-day comfort. Finally, we've added a few extra details like a rear pocket for storage and reflective tabs for added safety. All this makes the Espresso your new favourite short.
