This climate neutral, PFC-free hip bag allows full freedom of movement for bike tours where only the bare essentials are necessary. This lightweight, Green Button-certified hip bag has a pocket on the waist belt, a mesh pocket, and a zippered main compartment for stashing your cell phone, valuables and a 1.5-liter hydration system. The waist belt on this Bluesign® product is ergonomic and features the Pull-Forward system to create a snug, comfortable fit – no matter how bumpy the trail.

PFC Free
This Deuter product is free of per- & polyfluorinated chemicals. deuter thus reduces the use of environmentally harmful substances that pollute the environment and health. PFC is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water-, dirt- and grease-repellent properties. Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and the environment.

Product Offset CO²
By increasing the integration of low-carbon materials and technologies in its collections, Deuter is working on a long-term basis to reduce its carbon footprint as much as possible. But despite these efforts, it is not possible to make a product climate neutral. Whatever cannot be reduced in products today, Deuter wants to compensate for it in cooperation with Climate Partner. In future, by purchasing a Deuter 'CO² offset' product, the amount of emissions released from the production and transport of the product will be neutralised through a voluntary offset and invested specifically in a selected social and climate protection project.

Bluesign® product
Consumer products that carry the bluesign® product label conform to the strict safety and environmental requirements of the bluesign® system criteria. The textiles and accessories used to manufacture the products with the bluesign® approved label are produced in a way that saves valuable resources and has a minimum impact on people and the environment.

Green Button certified product
The Green Button is a government-run certification label for sustainable textiles. Everyone who aims to purchase socially and environmentally sustainable clothes should look out for the Green Button. There is currently no other label like the Green Button. It demands that mandatory standards are met to protect people and the environment. A total of 46 stringent social and environmental criteria must be met, covering a wide spectrum from wastewater to forced labour.
