ER 1600 SPLINE 23: you'll hardly notice the climbs you're about to face
ER 1600 SPLINE 30: its aerodynamic design gives you stability even in windy conditions

Rim width
The new rim has an increased width of 22 mm, offering ideal support for wide tyres. The result is an optimal mix of comfort and stability.

Spokes
The new shape of the DT aero comp® II straightpull spokes provides a real aerodynamic advantage.

Hub
With a lightweight axle and milled hub body combined with the highly acclaimed Ratchet system, the 350 road hub helps reduce the weight of the bike.

Freewheel body
The rapid engagement of the unique Ratchet 36 SL system results in responsive acceleration, ideal when riding on winding roads.

AERO+
Translational drag is the aerodynamic force that slows the cyclist down in the direction of travel. This force depends on the cyclist's frontal impact surface (75%), the road bike and its components (25%), and the speed. To minimise translational resistance, the impact surface of the cyclist/bike assembly must be limited, optimising its aerodynamics as much as possible. If you want to go faster, it is essential to reduce the aerodynamic resistance of the cyclist/bike assembly, since the force increases proportionally to the square of the speed. From 15 km/h upwards, aerodynamic resistance is the greatest resistance the cyclist has to overcome. The front wheel plays a key role, as it accounts for 8% of the total resistance.
