DT Swiss GRC 1100 CL 50 Disc 700c wheelset
Get rid of your limitations on an extreme off-road adventure
For the best ride of your life, you must have the best possible configuration, leaving nothing to chance during the final preparations. The new GRC 1100 DICUT meets all requirements. The new Gravel wheels are manufactured using a state-of-the-art production process. The result? Lightweight carbon wheels directly ‘out of the mold’, without the need for a finishing coat. They are sure to attract attention and save you precious grams, as well as customised aerodynamic optimisation. The two new rims are assembled with the best DT Swiss components, the lightweight 180 DICUT hub with ceramic bearings and the DT Aerolite II spokes that guarantee fast acceleration and low rolling resistance. It's not up to DT SWiss to decide whether you'll win races, but they've made sure that your wheel set will keep on rolling and keep people rolling all along the way! So, do you want to be in the hunt or do you want to stay out of the game?

Technologies
AERO+
The perfect symbiosis of resistance, handling and efficiency.
TRANSLATIONAL RESISTANCE Translational resistance is the aerodynamic force that slows down the cyclist in the direction of travel. This force depends on the cyclist's frontal impact surface (75%), the road bike and its components (25%), and speed. To minimise translational drag, the impact surface area of the cyclist/bike assembly must be limited, optimising its aerodynamics as much as possible.
SAIL EFFECT In crosswinds, the rider and road bike are exposed to lateral forces that affect the aerodynamic behaviour of the bike. When developing road bike wheels, the aim is to reduce these lateral forces as much as possible and increase the sail effect as much as possible, offering maximum pedalling efficiency. The sail effect of the wheels can be compared to the propulsion generated by the sail of a boat under the effect of the wind. When pedalling, the rim works with a similar effect and can propel the bike and rider forward. Therefore, in a moderate crosswind blowing with a yaw angle between 0 and 20°, the cyclist is not only no longer slowed down by translational resistance, but can even count on this resistance being reduced as the yaw angle increases.
TUBLESS TECHNOLOGY
All DT Swiss wheels are compatible with tubeless technology, and the ASM versions are tubeless-ready, equipped with tubeless tape and valves.tubeless tyres boast several advantages over the traditional combination of tube and clincher: the tyre can be inflated to a lower pressure level, without risking pinching (the so-called ‘snakebite’ punctures) and guaranteeing superior grip. The lower pressure offers greater comfort in the saddle and the absence of a chamber eliminates friction between the chamber and the tyre, resulting in less rolling resistance on terrain and obstacles. The use of a tubeless sealing fluid enables the tyre to self-seal punctures and small cuts. A great advantage for all those who like to ride for a long time and who, in the event of a problem, would find themselves several kilometres away from the nearest repair shop.
SPOKE TECHNOLOGY
The creation of high-quality spokes marked the beginning of the company. DT was synonymous with high-quality Swiss spokes even before the founding of today's DT Swiss AG Today, DT Swiss spokes are synonymous with durability and precision and, thanks to their exclusive manufacturing process, offer an unrivalled combination of lightness and stability.
SPOKE TENSION, THE HIDDEN FORCE An essential factor guaranteeing the quality of a wheel is spoke tension. It is this hidden force that makes a wheel durable, ensures precise steering and offers the possibility of acceleration. The art of wheel assembly consists in adjusting the spoke tension to a value as close as possible to the specified maximum, while taking care to keep the deviation of tension between them as low as possible.
HAND-TESTED ASSEMBLY
Each DT Swiss wheel is assembled by hand. In itself, hand-assembly means more than just the certainty of obtaining a stable and strong wheel. Building a high-quality wheel set also requires expertise and, above all, experience.
NEW MOULDING TECHNOLOGY
An innovative rim manufacturing process, unique in the industry, and non-destructive inspection of each product, layer by layer, result in lightweight yet strong rims for a long-lasting riding experience.
