DVO Onyx SC E1 rake 44 mm tapered 29 fork

Charge hard.

As part of DVO E-MTB suspension platform, the Onyx E1 series is the DVO top-of-the-line enduro fork that has been carefully considered for the added demands of E-MTB’s. Based on the solid foundation of Onyx D1 platform, DVO technicians have made small changes that equate to big advantages on the trail. With up to 180mm of travel and based on the solid foundation of D1 platform, Onyx E1 is more durable while maintaining comfort and control.

Due to the added weight and mileage of an E-MTB, they increased the bushing overlap within the casting. This provides two benefits; structural stability and longevity. When pushed hard, the increased overlap maintains structural integrity for precise steering in big hit situations. Durability also comes into play with the luxury of riding farther in a shorter amount of time. The new bushing design will allow you to rack up the miles without a loss in performance. D1 damper, dynamic rebound and industry-exclusive OTT maintain a supple ride.

The E1 series is DVO own take on an E-MTB suspension platform. While many many E suspension platforms take an approach of increased compression damping and higher air pressure, DVO knew there was more to it. E-MTB’s provide the luxury of ripping both up and down the trail. Due to this, comfort is paramount as you pedal over obstacles at high speed. Increasing compression damping isn’t the simple answer. D1 damper maintains a lighter compression tune for a supple ride that keeps you fresh until the battery runs out.

67% More Bushing Overlap

Compression bladder
At the heart of the damper is DVO compression bladder. An industry exclusive feature that surrounds a bladder with a large volume of oil and compresses“t throughout the entire stroke. This provides unrivaled small bump sensitivity, durabiliy, and damping consistency for long rides in rough conditions. No stiction, Large oil volume, Consistent Damping, Extremely Durable, Unique Ride Characteristics.

Your hands will thank you
Exclusive OTT feature really sets DVO product apart from anything else. It allows you to perfectiy fine tune how the initial stroke feels without any mid/end stoke compromise. You really do get the best of both worlds.
The OTT feature works by using a Smm allen key t0 extemally add or remove preload on a coil negative spring. Once youiTe about 30% of the way through the travel, the OTT spring is completely disengaged and you get into the positive aîr spring which controls your mid-stroke and bottom out. Set your air pressure for how you want the fork t feel n the mid to end stroke and fine tune your small bump sensitivity with the OTT feature.

Integrated fender
For a clean and polished look that both functions and looks killer. A fully integrated fender comes with your fork for those sloppy days on the mountain!
