Fizik Terra Aidon x5 Regular saddle

An off-road compliant saddle designed to complement the experience of riding a full-suspension, pedal-assisted mountain bike. As part of Fizik's new range of short nose saddles, Aidon is specifically designed for use with full-suspension E-MTBs. The shorter shape puts riders in a more planted position, providing greater stability, safety and control when riding heavier pedal assist bikes. A smooth transition from the nose to the side wings allows for smooth position changes when riding the bike. The undulating tail provides support for the lower back to help riders maintain position while tackling technical climbs, as well as giving greater control when kicking with electric assist. Once you conquer the climbs and descend with the seatpost down, the saddle becomes a control device. The Terra Aidon's rounded contours allow for smooth, fast leg movement around the saddle to help you stay on course. Because more time is spent in a seated position on an E-MTB than during traditional riding, the Terra Aidon features a specific ergonomic cut, designed to relieve pressure on sensitive areas. A layer of rubber on the underside of the opening acts as a splash guard, blocking out unwanted dirt and spray from the trails.In addition, for added comfort, the E-MTB saddle is padded with a thicker proprietary Type 2 foam around the ischial bone area to support a more upright riding posture, as well as on the sides for improved maneuverability and comfort when pedaling at a high cadence. For all-mountain pedal-assist use, the Terra Aidon is designed with a conformal shell to offer a higher level of flexibility. This controlled elasticity absorbs vibrations for greater comfort. To better support the Terra Aidon's flexible shell, Fizik used the Mobius closed loop track system for increased structural stability and responsiveness.
