Formula Cura 4 Tfra Fcs disc brake 2024

With the Cura 4, the Formula team set themselves a very ambitious goal: they sought to go beyond their own expectations. Their aim was clear right from the start, to create a brake that was unrivalled in terms of power and modulation, made from the highest quality materials and at the same time accessible to the widest possible number of riders. The Cura 4's four 18mm diameter pistons make previously unimaginable power available to the rider. The increased friction surface of the pads and the increased thickness guarantee perfect modulability. With the Cura 4 you have maximum control over the delivery of braking power. The optimised roll-back allows you to achieve the exceptional feel at the lever that has already made the Cura famous. The Cura 4 inherits from its younger brother the quality of the materials, it is in fact a fully forged and anodised brake, a production process that guarantees structural quality, reliability over time and low weight.

MixMaster
The MixMaster collar is optional for all Formula brakes. This simple upgrade allows direct attachment of Shimano (I-Spec B) and SRAM shifters to your Formula brakes, leaving the bike with a clean look.

FCS & TFRA
Why not enjoy the exhilarating sensation of braking? Experience the sensation of applying enough pressure to feel the brake pads graze the disc, while the bike responds the way we idealise. The Feeling Control system allows the rider to fully customise the lever to suit their needs, resulting in optimum performance and comfort. In addition, the rider can fine-tune the balance between lever feel and braking power, which was previously impossible with standard levers. In combination with the Tool Free Reach Adjustment, the rider can make adjustments to the lever without the need for tools in order to achieve the best possible feel. In addition to these two features, the lever has small perforations that provide maximum feel and grip, even in the wettest conditions. Furthermore, Formula believes that all riders should have access to the ultimate lever feel, so the lever can only be purchased as a spare part.
