This new carbon road wheel climbs and corners faster with a lighter weight 32mm rim featuring UST Road Tubeless technology and disc-brake-specific engineering

With quick acceleration and a lightweight, efficient feel on the climbs, this newcomer in the Cosmic family takes over the venerable Ksyrium Pro Carbon UST. Carbon rims and disc-brake control gives you an added advantage in the mountains and hills. It features the same rim as the pro-level SLR 32 model, which means superlight full carbon construction for easier climbing and instant acceleration.
The 21mm internal rim width is optimized for 28mm tires to deliver a smooth, efficient ride on a variety of road surfaces. And new refined spokes help make this rim 80g lighter than its predecessor. The new Infinity hub platform adds stiffness, so the wheels feel quick and responsive out of every corner.
The Road Tubeless system lets you run lower tire pressure for improved rolling efficiency, a smoother ride quality, and a reduced risk of flats. The new rim bed shape makes it easier than ever to mount and remove tires. If your typical rides include tough climbs, technical cornering and descents, the Cosmic SL 32 Disc is a fast, easy way to supercharge your road bike.

Technologies

UST Tubeless Ready tyre
Traction, control and lightweight. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort while reducing inertia and flats. The 'tubeless ready' construction results in a lighter tyre for improved performance.

QRM Auto bearing preload technology
Mavic latest innovation. Those cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play on the long run.

Instant Drive 360
The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and fast to engage at a rotation with only 9°. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.

• Oversize aluminium axle and hardened alloy freewheel driver body saves 40 g.
• 40 teeth dual ratchet system provides fast 9° engagement.
• Radial seal provides low friction for higher speed and perfect waterproofness.
