For all-around cross-country performance, including faster climbing and descending, this premium 29" alloy wheelset delivers stiffness, durability and the easiest tubeless system available today. This Tubeless Ready wheelset lives up to its name with many of the same features and technologies as pro-level XC race wheels, but at a far more attainable price. One of the key factors is a UST technology, which allows for easy setup of tubeless ready tyres and gives you all the associated benefits including better traction and control, a smoother ride quality and a reduced risk of punctures. The rim design features a 25 mm internal width with a hookless profile, a sensible setup for tubeless XC tyres.

Technologies

UST Tubeless Ready tyre
Traction, control and lightweight. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort while reducing inertia and flats. The 'tubeless ready' construction results in a lighter tyre for improved performance.

QRM Auto bearing preload technology
Mavic latest innovation. Those cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play on the long run.

Instant Drive 360
The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and fast to engage at a rotation with only 9°. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.

Fore tapeless tubeless technology
Stiffer and stronger
Instead of being drilled, the lower rim bridge is pushed up on the inside, then threaded to enable the spoke nipples to be directly screwed in it, leaving the upper rim bridge intact.

• Rim is 4 times more resistant to fatigue stress
• 20% increase in the rim rigidity to maximize power transfer
• No rim tape is needed(no added weight), for easier tubeless set up and maintenance and more reliable air tightness
