Maxxis Minion DHR II TL-Ready DH 3C MaxxGrip WT 29" tyre

With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Technologies

3C MaxxGrip

3C MaxxGrip uses the softest rubber compounds to offer the ultimate in grip and slow rebound properties for unparalleled traction in downhill applications.

TR-Tubeless Ready

Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tire; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tires provide the benefits of a UST tubeless tire without the weight penalty. The square bead profile of the TR tires is designed to work with the broad range of tubeless rims available on the market today. Maxxis's TR tires use a special construction which allows the use of liquid sealants to make them airtight and to help prevent punctures. If needed, Maxxis TR tires can also be used with an inner tube.

WT - Wide Trail

Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tire's tread layout and profile on today's modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed around older, narrower rims and can create an overly square tire profile, leading to less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for a 35 mm inner rim width, but are proven to work over a range from 30-35 mm inner rim widths, depending on the rider's preference.
