Met Roam Mips helmet

Embrace your sense of adventure. Seek out hidden treasures!

The Met Roam is an All-Mountain / Enduro helmet that will watch your back out in the wild.

Extended head coverage
The back of the head and the temples are especially in need of protection from impact, so Met increased the coverage around these key areas, without sacrificing the helmet’s light weight.

Stability
The inner padding has an extended surface area thanks to links between the soft pads, which provides the perfect stability without disturbing internal airflow.

Fit system Safe-T Orbital
All-round belt offers 360 adjustment, three positions for vertical adjustment and two positions for occipital adjustment. Ponytail compatible.

Adjustable visor
The visor’s injection-molded plastic may be flexible but it won’t act like a spring during a crash, nor will it shake around during a ride. Offering three different positions, the Met Roam is compatible with any goggles or glasses on the market.

Fixed goggle clip-edge
There are clips on the visor and a rear edge, which allow you to use the Met Roam with any goggles on the market.

Strap camera mount compatible
The EPS shell is designed with a channel under the top vents for perfect compatibility between the strap on your action camera and the inner padding.

Ventilation
The Roam features 22 vents that, together with the purpose-built internal channels, provide optimal airflow.

Technology

MIPS Brain Protection

MIPS is a low friction layer inside the helmet which allows the head to rotate relative to the helmet in an angled impact. This substantially reduces rotational violence and the potential for damage to the brain. Collaborating with some of the world's leading neurosurgeons and experts, MIPS® has established that when you fall, your head most often hits the ground at an angle, creating a rotational shock to the brain. This rotational shock can cause strain in your brain. A helmet with MIPS® absorbs much of that rotational energy, offering you better protection. And if, against all the odds, you do fall vertically onto your head, a helmet with MIPS® will protect you just as well as an ordinary helmet.
