The SmarTUBE is Pirelli’s latest product in the world of tubes, as they continue to seek to improve performance in modern cycling. They are the result of Pirelli's development for World Tour tubulars, now made available for everyday rides with clinchers. Made from a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), it can save up to 70% more weight compared to a standard butyl tube and it takes up almost 50% less space in your pockets, while being stronger than butyl as a raw material. It is available in a comprehensive range of sizes that include Road, MTB and reinforced Gravel or Endurance versions. These tubes have two big benefits over butyl tubes: first of all they reduce the rotating mass where it counts the most, the wheels, making your bike quicker and more maneuvrable, to help improve your handling and climbing speed. In addition to that, they save space in your pockets and bags, so that you can carry more food and ride longer. Thermoplastic Polyurethane
Thermoplastic Polyurethane, or TPU, is the latest version of a of a plastic material that is lighter and stronger than butyl and has a better air retention than latex. It is available in shiny and bright Pirelli yellow to be easily recognizable. Thanks to the TPU amazing properties you can save up to 70% of weight and 50% of space compared to a standard inner tube.

Presta Valve
Pirelli's SmarTUBES are equipped with a standard Presta valve with RVC mechanism with glued core, in order to fit with the majority of rim depths. The valve is black and gives to your bike a clean and slick look.
