ASPIDE is an aesthetically and technologically perfect saddle. It has always had the merit of satisfying the most demanding cyclists and of not disappointing those who try it for the first time. A light, comfortable saddle with exclusive performance in use. The Aspide is the choice of those cyclists who demand the best from themselves and their vehicles.
Its design is inimitable, with an essential shape that is synonymous with lightness and comfort, as is its ergonomics, recently redefined by a specific study to find the perfect mix of unloading and support zones.
The SUPERCOMFORT version is suitable for two types of users:
Those who spend little time on the bike. If, on average, the ride lasts no more than 2 hours, it is preferable to use generous padding, as in this case the adaptation of the subcutaneous support tissues caused by pressure is lacking.
People who spend a lot of time on the bike. If you spend more than 5 to 6 hours on the saddle, you need thicker padding because of the time during which the subcutaneous areas are subject to pressure.
SUPERCOMFORT has been specifically developed by working on the components of the product that determine the comfort level of the saddle itself: padding, central hole and cover.
The padding, in the Racing version, features the coupling of a layer of Biofoam and an additional layer of Gel. These are combined with variable thicknesses depending on the support area to optimise the contact zone with the ischial bones.
The central hole (Open-Fit) has been completely redesigned to find the meeting point between maximum material discharge and optimised structural resistance of the shell. This particular design prevents crushing and therefore soreness of the cyclist's soft parts and is also particularly suitable for women.
The cover used has micro-perforation to make it easier to keep the surfaces in contact with each other dry.
The saddle has a side profile of the seat surface identifiable by a curved line with a central depression of more than 5 mm and is therefore classified as Waved. This feature makes the saddle particularly comfortable even for people with a flat back (backward pelvis), facilitating correct posture when cycling.

Biofoam
Biodynamic structure that follows the movements of the pelvis while pedalling, guaranteeing comfort, reduced weight, long-lasting resistance and ideal support. The "closed cell" surface ensures that the padding is totally water-repellent.
Carbon Fiber Reinforced
Nylon with high properties, enriched with a high percentage of long carbon fibres to enhance stiffness and durability without affecting weight.
Microfeel
Breathable coating with high abrasion resistance. Less deformable than traditional materials and lighter. Bio-compatible. Now available in some models with the new silk-effect finish, Silk Microfeel.
Stealth Xsilite
Material with a high percentage of silicon, combined with titanium and carbon particles. It is light, resistant and not affected by any weather conditions. The development of stealth technology guarantees resistance to stress. All Racing saddles are offered with Stealth Xsilite frame.
