SEIS Shimano Electronic Intelligent System
Innovative computerised shifting technology based on the DI2 concept; together the system is known as SEIS (Shimano Electronic Intelligent System). The innovative SEIS shifting technology continues to be based on the indexed system (SHIMANO Index System, SIS) that has proven its superior characteristics over many years. The main difference is that, in this case, the shifting action is provided by electronics rather than mechanics. This electronic shifting system has been extensively tested over the past two years by numerous professional cyclists in all conditions: rain, mud, low temperatures, cobblestones and combinations of all these. Shifting is simply a matter of pressing the button. No energy has to be applied to shifting, which provides important advantages: it is now easier to maintain a secure grip on the handlebars and to stay focused on the road and not on shifting.

E-Tube
E-TUBE is Shimano's "service" that uses websites or apps to maximise cycling pleasure by connecting riders, bikes and SHIMANO. E-TUBE PROJECT, SHIMANO's original mobile app allows you to customize your bike, update firmware, and maintain your bike via a wireless connection to your bike. You can also get detailed maintenance services by connecting your bike via cable with the E-TUBE PROJECT for Windows V4 app.
