Vittoria Syerra 29x2.4 TLR graphene 4c 29'' tyre

Syerra is the ideal choice for aggressive style cyclists looking for high performance and reliability in a lightweight yet tough tyre. Built to tackle the most challenging XC trails, as well as long off-road rides, rough climbs and technical descents, Syerra is Vittoria's down-country tyre.

More robustness, more fun

XC trails have become very technical in recent years. Thanks to its robustness, the Syerra allows you to tackle even the most difficult trails with more confidence, fun, and peace of mind.
Syerra is also an excellent option for Trail riding. Offering more comfort than a traditional XC tyre, the Syerra makes it easy to complete even the longest mountain bike rides on mountain trails.
It is therefore a great tyre for mountainbiking in general, where having comfortable tyres makes everything easier and more enjoyable.

The tread pattern of the Syerra is derived from both the Agarro and the Mazza but offers less weight and better rolling.
The pronounced lateral tread pattern and well-defined central channel ensure excellent grip and immediate advance in turns.
The progressive tread pattern of the blocks ensures road holding during sudden changes of direction.

The large space between the blocks and the notches in the blocks allow the Syerra to easily negotiate slippery surfaces and quickly clean the tread from debris.
The central blocks have a step in the front which helps to maintain speed but also to attack the ground when climbing and braking.
This block composition allows for speed and handling on soft and hard terrain and extreme control on slippery terrain.

Syerra is compatible for both front and rear use; and in combination with other models.
Built with a durable tubeless-ready casing and puncture-resistant sidewall inserts, Syerra is more durable and robust than the XC tyre you're used to - with minimal impact on weight.

The end result is a tyre that performs as well uphill as it does downhill. For those whose every turn is a conquest.

Tireless uphill. Overwhelming on the descent

Syerra was developed to meet the needs of the emerging Down-Country segment, raising the bar for XC performance.
Vittoria engineers have combined Speed and Rolling Efficiency - typical characteristics of the XC segment - with high Grip and Robustness - distinctive features of the Trail segment.
The result is a light and fast product that allows you to have fun even when tackling challenging descents and technical terrain.

Technologies

Graphene 2.0

In an effort to push the limits of what is thought possible, Vittoria has succeeded in developing a new generation of Graphene: Graphene 2.0.
Unlike the first generation Graphene, the new Graphene 2.0 is designed to improve tyre-specific performance.
In other words, while the first generation of Graphene compounds raised the bar uniformly, Graphene 2.0 focuses on individual performance measurements and increases them disproportionately.
Vittoria is now able to use Graphene in a way that specifically increases performance to improve speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance.

4C

The compound of a tyre, along with the casing, determines how well it holds the road. Vittoria relentlessly researches new compounds to create tyres with ever-greater performance, grip, and durability.
In all conditions.
Developed exclusively by Vittoria to achieve even greater performance, Vittoria 4C is a layering process in which 4 compounds with unique characteristics are combined within a single tyre.

Anti-Pinch Insert [APF]

Down-Country tyres use rubber inserts positioned above the beads. The anti-puncture inserts [APF] not only prevent the likelihood of punctures, but also enhance the stability and overall protection of the tyre on the sidewalls.
The APF inserts are made of rubber to better support the tyre sidewall.
